Worship is a dynamic encounter between God and God’s people. The Lord speaks to us through the Word (scripture and preaching) and sacraments (Baptism and Holy Communion). Worshipers respond with prayer and praise, and are empowered for service in the world.
Liturgy is a term many Christians use in reference to the work of the people in the worship of God. The liturgy provides a specific structure and flow to the order of worship which centers in the risen Christ coming to us with his love and grace in the Word and Sacraments.
