Youthquake Experience from Payton Hild…
(7th grader Payton Hild wrote about his thoughts after attending this year’s Youthquake…)
We always worry about things that won't last when we finally get to where we belong and that's in the Kingdom of God. Being here on Earth is just a little chapter of our life. We often think that when we dies we are dead, but God promised us Eternal Life. Just because men are supposed to protect and provide for their families that they can't also be part of God's work. Men can also leave a part of their life for God and to be emotional and go to church. Often, men say that since they are men, they aren't a "soft" person so they're going to stay home from church. Everybody is part of God's work and that you're worth it because you all have power to be in God and for God to be in us. God loves us all the same and no matter how other people see you, you are loved by God. We should reach out to people and help them because if you were in the same position they would help you. Just going to church on Sundays and praying and reading the Bible don't make you closer to God. If something bad happens just step back and look at all of it, and that might be how God is trying to talk to you.
